Central Oklahoma went 24-7 last season and the Bronchos were ranked No. 18 in the final coaches' poll of the season. UCO returns eight lettermen from last season's MIAA champions squad, including four starters.

"We're excited about the upcoming season and the potential of this team," UCO head men's basketball coach Bob Hoffman said. "The work the guys have put in during the preseason thus far has been great and we look forward to all we can achieve this year. It's always good to be mentioned in any preseason ranking but our guys understand the work is still to be done through a grueling schedule in the toughest conference in the country".

Central Oklahoma begins the 2022-23 season Nov. 11 in Bismarck, North Dakota. UCO is competing in the Central Region Challenge at the University of Mary. The Bronchos will play Mary and Northwestern Oklahoma State Nov. 11-12.

UCO is scheduled to make its home debut Tuesday, Nov. 15 against Barclay College (Kan.) at Hamilton Field House.
