Bob Hoffman Show Returns Nov. 2

EDMOND – Basketball season is right around the corner for the University of Central Oklahoma and next week, the Bob Hoffman Show returns to the airwaves ahead of the 2021-22 season.

UCO's third-year head men's basketball will be live at 8 p.m. on The Franchise, 107.7 FM, Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. with host Tony Sellars for the first coaches show of the new year.

Sellars and Hoffman will have two shows this fall. Tuesday, Nov. 2 ahead of Central's first exhibition game against Oklahoma State in Stillwater. The second show is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 7.

After the calendar flips to 2022, the show will begin airing on a weekly basis every Tuesday at 7 p.m. on The Franchise, beginning Jan. 4.

Central Oklahoma is picked third in the MIAA Preseason Coaches' Poll. The team is coming off a 14-11 campaign last season. The Bronchos finished fifth in the league standings before a win on the road in the postseason led UCO to the MIAA Championship Semifinals.

Hoffman returns several key players, including All-MIAA selections Callen Haydon and Isaiah Wade. Camryn Givens and Jaden Wells are also back giving Hoffman his top four scorers from last season presumably in the starting lineup for 2021-22.

Central Oklahoma plays at Oklahoma State on Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in an exhibition contest. The Bronchos officially open the new season Friday, Nov. 12 against Northwestern Oklahoma State in Edmond as part of the Central Region Classic at Hamilton Field House. UCO will also play Mary (N.D.) on Saturday, Nov. 13 in the regional challenge featuring teams from the MIAA, the Great American Conference, and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
