CLAREMORE, Okla. – The University of Central Oklahoma women's basketball team is postponing its game against Rogers State this Saturday due to health & safety protocols.
Central's game Thursday against Northeastern State will still be played as scheduled. However, Rogers State must go into quarantine due to contact tracing and cannot play Saturday.
UCO and Rogers State will work to find a new date for the game. A makeup date will be announced on bronchosports.com once it is official. For any Broncho basketball fans who have already purchased a ticket to Saturday's game, it will remain valid for the new date.
Central Oklahoma is 3-3 this season and takes on longtime rival Northeastern State Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in Tahlequah. The Bronchos will return home to take on Central Missouri and Lincoln next Thursday and Saturday respectively.
