Trip To Emporia, Home Affair With Fort Hays Bumped

EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma men's basketball team has postponed this week's games against Emporia State and Fort Hays State due to health & safety protocols.

This is the second time the ESU game has been postponed. The schools were scheduled to play Saturday, Dec. 5 in Emporia, Kansas but could not due to health and safety protocols within the Emporia State basketball program. Now UCO is pausing its own operations and will work to reschedule the game a second time.

The Fort Hays State game is also being rescheduled for a second time this season. The schools were originally scheduled to play Thursday, Dec. 10 but that landed in the middle of finals week, so the game was moved to Saturday, Jan. 2.

Once makeup dates are scheduled, it will be announced on bronchosports.com.

Central Oklahoma is 1-4 this season. The Bronchos next scheduled game is Thursday, Jan. 7 at Northeastern State.
