Bronchos Stay No. 2 In NFCA Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 10) -- Central Oklahoma maintained its position in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division poll Wednesday, coming in at No. 2 for the fourth consecutive week.

The Bronchos of head coach Cody White, 31-3 on the season, received one first-place vote and finished with 381 points in balloting of 16 coaches from around the country. North Florida received the other 15 first-place votes and stayed No. 1 with 399 points. Rounding out the top five is North Georgia, Southern Arkansas and Texas A&M-Kingsville.

UCO begins a four-game Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association homestand Thursday with a 3 p.m. doubleheader against Central Missouri. The Bronchos, who lead the league at 13-1, take on Southwest Baptist Friday in a 1 p.m. twinbill.
