Adarius Avery Named MIAA Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced Tuesday that University of Central Oklahoma men's basketball player Adarius Avery is the Player of the Week for the final week of the 2018-19 season.

Avery averaged 33 points per game this past week and 9.5 rebounds per game. The Bronchos went 0-2 and finished the season 11-17.
 
Avery shot 71.4 percent from the floor, making 25 of 35 shots he took. He was also 93.8 percent from the free-throw line, making 15 of 16 attempts. Avery scored a season-high 37 points in the final game of the regular season Saturday against Emporia State.
 
With the award, Avery became a three-time All-MIAA winner this season.
