EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma men's basketball team hosts Central Missouri on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 3:30 p.m. in Hamilton Field House. 

The Bronchos are 9-11 in the regular season and 2-9 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association after defeating Southwest Baptist on Thursday night. 

"Central Missouri is a solid team." UCO head coach Tom Hankins said. "We need to force them to take outside shots and shut down the drive into the lane."

Adarius Avery leads the Bronchos averaging 19.9 points and 10.5 rebounds. The senior is sixth in the MIAA in scoring and has marked down a double-double in the last six games. 

Josh Holliday averages 8.2 points and 15 total steals. Jordan Hemphill averages 8 points and 4.2 rebounds. Marquis Johnson leads the Bronchos in assists with 61 and averages 7.4 points. 

UCO averages 77.9 points a game and has a field goal average of 44 percent. They continue to out steal their opponent 145-105. They lead the MIAA in free-throws at 79 percent. 

Central Missouri is 10-9 overall and 3-7 in the MIAA after falling to Northeastern State earlier this week. 

Jafar Kinsey leads the Mules averaging 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds. Jakob Lowrance averages 11.9 points and 7.3 rebounds. Blake Spellman adds a 10.6 scoring average. 

The Bronchos will be back in action on the road next week against Northeastern State on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 3:30 p.m. They will then have two games on the road the following week against Emporia State on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Washburn on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 3:00 p.m.
