Cross Country Pair Named To MIAA Honor Roll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Central Oklahoma cross country team placed two student-athletes on the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Honor Roll, the league announced Tuesday.

Arizona Hummingbird and Erin Drewke were selected to the MIAA Honor Roll. Both student-athletes have higher than a 3.0 grade point average. Hummingbird, from Wagoner, Okla., is a junior Fashion Marketing major. Drewke, from Edmond, Okla., is a senior majoring in Biomedical Science.

Transfers and freshmen are not eligible to receive this award, but will be at the conclusion of the 2019-20 academic year.

Central Oklahoma cross country is set to compete this weekend in the NCAA Division II Regional Championships in Joplin, Mo. That race is set for Saturday morning.
