Harris Grabs Second All-American Nod

O'Shay Harris picked off his second All-American honor Monday, with the University of Central Oklahoma junior defensive back grabbing the recognition from D2Football.com as an honorable mention. Harris was also named an American Football Coaches Association Second Team All-American Second last month.

Harris led Central Oklahoma's resurgent defense in 2018 from the safety position. He was second on the team with 74 tackles, including three behind the line of scrimmage.
 
The Ardmore, Okla. native also had eight pass breakups, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions. He took a fumble recovery 70 yards for a touchdown in Week 9 of this past season.
 
Harris became the 11th defensive back in UCO history to earn All-American honors and the first since 2009. He's the fifth to earn multiple All-American nods in the same season.
