Biography

Senior defensive back and returning All-American poised to solidify his standout career this fall ... Arguably the best DB in the MIAA ... Can cover the entire field from the safety position, playing up or back, and has dabbled in play at corner ... Is a strong tackler that finds the ball and doesn't miss ... Went from part-time role to primary starter and has over 150 career tackles ... All-MIAA, All-Region, All-American honors as a junior last year and is set to repeat that performance in final season.

2018: Became the 11th defensive back to earn All-American honors at Central Oklahoma and 79th All-American all-time ... Made 74 tackles, including three in the backfield ... Had two interceptions and broke up eight passes ... Forced two fumbles and also recovered two fumbles ... Had a 70-yard fumble return for a touchdown in a 31-0 win over Missouri Southern in Week 9 ... Helped UCO to a national-best three consecutive shutouts in week's 8-9-10 ... Had an interception in Central's 62-0 win over Northeastern State in Week 10 ... Had a career-high 10 tackles in a 17-16 win over Missouri Western on the road in Week 7 ... Made at least five tackles in nine of 12 games and at least seven tackles in seven games ... Was First Team All-MIAA ... Earned All-Region honors from Don Hansen ... Was named an All-American by the AFCA (2nd Team), Don Hansen (Honorable Mention), and D2Football.com (HM).

2017: Played and started in all 12 games for the Bronchos ... Was fourth on the team with 75 tackles (45 solo, 30 assisted) ... Added one interception and disrupted 11 passes with break-ups and deflections ... Made significant strides in sophomore season, moving from contributor to key piece in the improving Broncho defense.

2016: Played in six games for the Bronchos as a redshirt freshman ... Made two tackles.

2015: Sat out redshirt season.

High School:  Class 3A All-Star and Most Valuable Player of District 3A-4 as a senior at Lone Grove High School after collecting 77 tackles and six interceptions while also returning two kickoffs for touchdowns ... Helped lead team to school’s first-ever district title and second round of Class 3A state playoffs his final season ... Also a track All-State performer after running on two state championship relay teams.

Personal: Industrial safety major ... Names “Friday Night Lights” as his top sports movie ... Lists the Carolina Panthers as his favorite professional team ... Birthdate is Jan. 13, 1997.
