Bronchos Continue Homestand Thursday

BRONCHOS STAYS HOME:  Central Oklahoma continues a season-long seven-game homestand Thursday when the Bronchos host Lincoln in the first of two games this week.
 
Game-time at Hamilton Field House is 5:30 p.m.
 
UCO is 13-6 on the season and 7-6 in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play.  The Blue Tigers from Jefferson City, Mo. are 7-12 and 3-10.
 
The Bronchos are home again Saturday to host Lindenwood at 1:30 p.m.  The Lions (7-12, 3-10) play at Northeastern State Thursday before coming to UCO.
 
UCO AT HOME:  The Bronchos are 4-2 at home this season.
 
UCO has a 255-174 record at Hamilton Field House, including a 76-36 mark under 10th-year head coach Guy Hardaker.
 
ABOUT THE SERIES:  UCO owns a 4-2 lead in the series and has won all four since joining the MIAA prior to the 2012-13 season.
 
The Bronchos claimed an 82-64 road victory over LU on Dec. 12 in this season's first meeting, tying a single-game school record with 15 made 3-pointers.  Marley Anderson scored a season-high 18 points and McKenzie Solberg added 17.
 
ABOUT THE BRONCHOS:  UCO ended a two-game league losing streak in its last outing, rolling over Central Missouri 77-48 for its first-ever win over the Jennies.
 
Senior Haley Weathers made four 3-pointers and scored 16 of her game-high 18 points in the first half of that win.
 
The Bronchos are averaging 70.1 points a game and giving up 64.5.  UCO leads the conference in free throw percentage (77.7) while ranking second in 3-pointers (7.6/game) and third in steals (8.8/game), 3-point percentage (35.6) and field goal percentage defense (37.9).
 
Senior McKenzie Solberg is the only player scoring in double figures with a 15.7 average that ranks eighth in the league.  She's also sixth in free throw percentage (83.5) and seventh in field goal percentage (47.3) while adding 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals a game.
 
Senior Julia Mason is the second-leading scorer with a 9.1 average to go with 3.8 rebounds.  She's scored 790 career points, needing 68 more to move into the school's all-time top-20 lists.
 
Senior Haley Weathers chips in 8.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest behind 44.2-percent shooting from 3-point range.  She tops the team in 3-pointers made (34) and attempted (77).
 
Junior Olivia Mason is the team's leading rebounder with 5.6 a game to go with 7.5 points and junior Marley Anderson contributes 6.7 points and a team-high 3.4 assists.
 
ABOUT THE BLUE TIGERS:  Lincoln has lost two straight and eight of its last night.
 
The Blue Tigers are averaging 61.7 points a game and giving up 74.6.
 
Zuri Hill paces LU in scoring (13.4) and rebounding (7.5), with Hunter Yoakum adding 11.4 points and 3.4 rebounds a game.
