UCO Travels To Lincoln and Lindenwood

UCO IS MISSOURI BOUND:  Central Oklahoma heads to Missouri this weekend for a pair of Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association games.
 
The Bronchos, 5-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play, travels to Jefferson City to meet Lincoln (4-3, 0-1) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and then goes to St. Charles to play Lindenwood (5-2, 1-0) at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
 
UCO, which plays its first seven MIAA games on the road, is home Dec. 17 to host non-conference foe Southern Nazarene.
 
ABOUT THE BRONCHOS:  UCO suffered its first loss of the season in its last Saturday, dropping a tough 81-76 road decision to unbeaten Pittsburg State.
 
The Bronchos are averaging 73.7 points a game and have seven players scoring at least 7.0 points per contest.
 
Senior McKenzie Solberg continues to lead UCO in scoring (16.2), rebounding (5.8), steals (2.1) and free throw percentage (84.6).  She's also shooting 50.0 percent from the field.
 
Senior Julia Mason is the only other player in double figures with a 10.5 average while adding 4.5 rebounds.  Junior Marley Anderson chips in 9.8 points, 4.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds a game and is shooting 47.1 percent (8-of-17) from 3-point range.
 
The Mason sisters of Julia, freshman Sadie (8.3) and junior Olivia (8.0) are combining for 26.8 points a game.
 
ABOUT THE BLUE TIGERS:  Lincoln fell to Lindenwood in its league opener last week.
 
Zuri Hill leads the Blue Tigers, ranking fourth in the league in scoring (17.3) and first in rebounding (10.0) while shooting 55.8 percent from the field.  Hunter Yoakum adds 12.2 points a game.
 
UCO has a 3-3 lead in the series and has won the last three meetings.
 
ABOUT THE LIONS:  Lindenwood has won two straight games heading into Saturday's home contest with Northeastern State.
 
The Lions are averaging 78.7 points a game and feature the conference's second-leading scorer in Kassidy Gengenbacher (19.3), who makes 3.3 3-pointers per game.  Jenny Rocha adds 10.0 points a contest.
 
The Bronchos own a 4-2 lead in the rivalry and have taken the last two meetings.
