UCO HITS THE ROAD
Central Oklahoma begins its final regular season road swing Wednesday when the Bronchos travel to Hays, Kan. to take on Fort Hays State.
 
Game-time at Gross Memorial Stadium is 5:30 p.m.
 
The Bronchos are 11-13 on the season and tied for ninth in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association standings at 6-11.  The Tigers are 17-7 overall and sixth in the league at 10-7.
 
Twelve teams make the MIAA Post-season Tournament, with the top four earning first-round byes while teams 5-8 host teams 9-12 on March 3 before the final three rounds are played Kansas City, Mo. March 6-9.
 
UCO, which finishes the regular season Friday at Nebraska-Kearney, is tied for ninth with Northwest Missouri and is just one game behind Northeastern State.
 
THE SERIES
FHSU has a 3-1 lead in a short series, including a 64-38 win in Edmond Jan. 16 in this season's first meeting.
 
ABOUT THE BRONCHOS
• UCO ended a seven-game losing streak in its last outing, edging NSU 69-65 in the home finale.
 
• Senior Jill Bryan scored 22 points in the win over the RiverHawks, hitting 7-of-13 field goals and 6-of-7 free throws.  It was her fourth 20-plus point game of the season and she leads the team with a 13.4 scoring average.
 
• Bryan has moved into 13th place on UCO's career scoring list with 960 points.  She needs 40 points to become the 11th player in school history with 1,000 points.
 
• Senior Britney Morgan had 13 points in the NSU win, moving her to 15th on the school's all-time points list with 915.  She also ranks fourth in career 3-pointers attempted (410) and fifth in career 3-pointers made (146).
 
• Sophomore Julia Mason has averaged 13.0 points in the last four games and has an 11.0 average for the season.
 
• Freshman Olivia Mason pulled down 10 rebounds against NSU for her seven double-digit rebounding game of the season.  She's averaging a team-high 6.9 boards a contest to go with 9.0 points.
 
ABOUT THE TIGERS
• FHSU leads the MIAA in scoring average (78.8), winning margin (+18.8), blocked shots (7.3), assists (16.1) and steals (9.5).
 
• Kate Lehman tops the Tigers with a 17.1 scoring average that is third-best in the conference and she leads the league in rebounding (11.1) and blocked shots (5.2).
