Bronchos surge past Southwest Baptist

EDMOND (Jan. 11) – Olivia Mason scored 18 points and the Bronchos used a 13-2 run in the second half to run past Southwest Baptist, 70-56, Saturday afternoon at the Hamilton Field House.

UCO outscored the Bearcats 38-21 in the second half after trailing 35-32 at halftime.

Haley Bryan chipped in 11 points in just 14 minutes off the bench. Julia Mason also had 11 points, while Jill Bryan added 10 points and eight rebounds.

Jacqui Zelenka led the Bearkats with 15 points.

The Bronchos are at home on Thursday against Fort Hays State with the game set for 5:30 p.m.
