Bronchos Travel To Southwest Baptist

Central Oklahoma begins a season-ending two-game road swing Saturday when the Bronchos travel to Bolivar, Mo. to take on Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association rival Southwest Baptist.

Kickoff at 3,000-seat Plaster Stadium is 1 p.m.

UCO is 1-7 on the season and in league play after ending a nine-game losing streak last week. The Bearcats are 1-8 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
The Bronchos were picked 10th by the coaches and 11th by the media in the pre-season conference poll. SBU was tabbed 13th in both polls.

TOUGH SLATE: UCO has faced a brutal schedule this season, having played five conference teams currently ranked in the top-25 who are a combined 40-4.

The Bronchos have taken on No. 2 Northwest Missouri (9-0), No. 6 Pittsburg State (8-1), No. 10 Emporia State (8-0), No. 15 Washburn (8-1) and No. 22 Missouri Western (7-2).

ABOUT THE SERIES: UCO and SBU are tied 2-2 in a short series that started in 2003, with neither team having won a home game.
The Bronchos won 30-7 in 2003 and 43-40 in 2008 in Bolivar.

ON THE AIR: All UCO games will be broadcast live on KNAH (FM 99.7) and KOAG-1640AM.
