DALLAS, Texas (March 30) – Andrew Green finished runner-up in the individual race to lead Central Oklahoma to a sixth-place showing in the Dallas Baptist Patriot Invitational here Tuesday.

Green entered Tuesday's final round with a one-shot lead over DBU's Will Dusenbury in the individual race, but the sophomore standout fell back to second with a closing 75 while Dusenbury shot a final-round 72.

“Andrew really had a great tournament and showed what he's capable of doing,” UCO head coach Dax Johnston said.   “Overall we didn't play our best, but we hung in there today in pretty tough conditions with the wind and managed to move up a couple of spots in the team standings.”

Dillon Rust had the low round of the day for the Bronchos with a one-over 71 as he finished tied for 21st with a 222 total.   UCO also got a 75 from #J.B. Law#, while Colin Morgan shot 77 and Trevor Stafford 82.

The Bronchos return to action next Monday and Tuesday, hosting the UCO/KickingBird Classic at KickingBird Golf Course.
