D2ADA Academic Achievement Award Includes Dozens of UCO Students

CLEVELAND – The Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) announced Thursday its 2024-25 recipients for the Academic Achievement Awards and Central Oklahoma was among those honored.
 
The D2ADA announced a record 202 institutions and more than 20,000 total student-athletes were honored. To qualify, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, have attended two years of college, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during this past year.
 
UCO had 82 student-athletes make the prestigious list, among more than 1,300 in the MIAA. Central Oklahoma was represented by 13 of 14 varsity sports.
