UCO Snaps Slide With Win At Pitt State

Bronchos Beat Pittsburg State 84-78 In MIAA Road Game

The win moved UCO to 9-8 on the season and 3-5 in league play. Pitt State is 9-8 and 5-3 on the season. The teams split the season series with the road team winning each game.

"This was good for us," UCO head men's coach Bob Hoffman said. "To have a lead and hold on to it is big. We've given up some leads and to be able to get out of here with a win, this is a hard place to win, today was good for us."

Pitt got the game down to one point early in the second half, but the Bronchos led by 12 points, 62-50, midway through the half. In the end, PSU got within two before the Bronchos finished off the six-point win.
