Layne Grantham Named Don Hansen All-American

Central Oklahoma Veteran Offensive Lineman Stamps Career With Honorable Mention All-American Honor

BROOKFIELD, Ill. – Central Oklahoma offensive lineman Layne Grantham was named Don Hansen All-American Monday.

Grantham, from Moore, Oklahoma, wrapped up a standout career with Central Oklahoma this fall and earned Honorable Mention All-American honors following his final season. He started all 11 games this season and helped the Broncho offense put up 400 yards per game and 27 points per game. UCO ranked in the top half of the league in rushing, passing, and total offense in 2023.

Grantham, who earned All-MIAA honors in 2022 and 2023, played multiple positions for the Bronchos during his career. He played in eight games as a true freshman in 2019 before sitting out with all of UCO in 2020. Grantham played in 10 games in 2021 and then every game for the past two seasons earning postseason accolades.

Grantham is the second All-American in two seasons since Adam Dorrel took over the UCO football program. He's the first offensive lineman to earn All-American honors since 2018.

Central Oklahoma has had 83 All-Americans a combined 128 times including Grantham.
