Softball Coaches Named Staff of the Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Central Oklahoma's softball coaching staff has been selected as the 2023 NFCA Central Region Staff of the Year, it was announced Friday.

Cody White and Jon Hunter have coached the Bronchos since 2014 and over the last 10 years the duo has won 402 games for the Bronchos. Jordan Dixon joined the staff three years ago and has helped White and Hunter reach the 2023 NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

UCO won the first game of the national finals on Thursday before facing off against North Georgia in the second round.

Regional (respective region only) and National Coaching Staffs of the Year are voted on by NFCA member head coaches.
