Central Oklahoma Senior All-American Outfielder Leads Bronchos

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Central Oklahoma senior outfielder Rylee Lemos was named to the NFCA Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year watchlist, it was announced Wednesday.

The NFCA announced 115 student-athletes across eight regions on the watchlist. In the Central Region, Lemos is one of 15 players. Lemos, already an All-American and two-time NFCA Gold Glove selection, is wrapping up a brilliant four-year career at Central Oklahoma this season. UCO is ranked 18th this week.

In 35 games played, Lemos is hitting .374 and more than half of her 40 hits are for extra bases. She has 11 doubles, six home runs, and five triples. Lemos has scored 42 runs and batted in 41. She also has 10 stolen bases.

Earlier this season, Lemos became UCO's all-time leader in triples and has 22 as of this week. This past weekend she also became UCO's all-time leader in runs scored and has 231 as of this week.

Lemos was named NFCA Gold Glove as a true freshman in 2023. Her sophomore season in 2024 ended with First Team All-MIAA and First Team All-Region honors. In 2025, she was First Team All-MIAA, the league's Defensive Player of the Year, as well as First Team All-Region and Second Team All-American. Lemos earned her second NFCA Gold Glove award as well last season.

Central Oklahoma has four home games scheduled this week with a pair of MIAA doubleheaders at Gerry Pinkston Stadium. The Bronchos host Northwest Missouri Friday at 11 a.m. and Missouri Western Saturday at 12 p.m.
