UCO Heads To MIAA Basketball Media Day Tuesday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association is hosting its 2023 Basketball Media Day, presented by Seigfreid Bingham, Tuesday at the College Basketball Experience.

MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy will announce the preseason coaches' and media polls when he begins the day at 9:15 a.m. Central Oklahoma head women's basketball coach Emma Andrews and head men's basketball coach Bob Hoffman will speak on stage at 11:45 a.m.

Central Oklahoma begins the 2023-24 season in November. The men's team opens first, playing at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Lakeland, Florida Nov. 4-5. Both teams will be in action Nov. 10-11 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma for the Central Region Challenge.

The men will also be first up in Hamilton Field House this season. The Bronchos host Southwestern Christian Sunday, Nov. 19 at 5 p.m. UCO's women are scheduled to make their home debut Nov. 21 against Texas A&M International.
