Central Missouri won the annual tally of the league's top institution, based on finishes in each of the championship sports the league sponsors.

UCO totaled 10.11 points in the standings this season, which did not include fall sports (canceled due to the pandemic) and wrestling (no champion this winter).

Central Oklahoma won the 2021 MIAA Championship in four sports, though only three counted toward the standings. The Bronchos took top honors in women's golf, tennis and softball. UCO also won the MIAA title in a modified, unofficial, spring soccer season.

UCO has finished in the top half of the league in each of the five seasons the MIAA had its Commissioner's Cup. The Bronchos finished third in 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 before a seventh-place finish in 2019-20 (no spring sports counted due to the pandemic).
