EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma announced Thursday a few changes to its men's and women's basketball schedules. Both teams had their game against Rogers State postponed due to the winter storm last week.
UCO's women's basketball team will play at Rogers State Sunday at 3 p.m. The men's team will play at Rogers State Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 3 p.m. The men's squad also moved its previously rescheduled game at Northeastern State up one day. Central will visit Tahlequah Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
The Bronchos are 10-6 on the women's side this season and will play their final six games of the 2020-21 regular season in a 10-day span beginning with hosting Rogers State Thursday night at Hamilton Field House. UCO is in sixth-place in the MIAA standings and working to secure a playoff bid for the eighth consecutive season.
UCO is 9-7 in men's hoops this season. The Bronchos will also play their final six games of the 2020-21 regular season in a 10-day span beginning with RSU Thursday night at Hamilton. Central is in fourth-place in the MIAA and looking to not only secure a playoff bid, but also lock down hosting a first-round game.
