UCO Up To No. 8 In National Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Central Oklahoma moved up seven spots in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25, announced Wednesday, with the Bronchos coming in at No. 8 in the country this week.

UCO is 16-1 on the season and last week, run-ruled former No. 1 Angelo State in Edmond. The Bronchos also won a pair of extra-inning games against Oklahoma Christian.

The Bronchos are on a 12-game win streak. Central Oklahoma opens Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play this week against Northwest Missouri and Missouri Western. UCO will play host to Northwest on Thursday at 1 & 3 p.m. before hosting Missouri Western on Friday at the same time.
