Central Oklahoma's second-place standing was boasted by its soccer team, which won the MIAA regular season and conference tournament championships this fall. UCO won a school record 22 games and made it to the NCAA Division II Championship Round of 16.

The Bronchos also had a third-place finish in volleyball, which went 27-7 this season and found itself in the national rankings every week of the season.

The UCO football team went 8-4 this season after winning the Heart of Texas Bowl earlier this month. Central, which tied for fourth in the MIAA, has won eight games in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2003-04.

UCO finished 11th in cross country this season.

The Commissioner's Cup is a race to determine the best overall athletic department in the MIAA. The standings are based on points earned for each of the sports recognized by the MIAA divided by the number of those sports sponsored by each respective member institution.
