Green Named All-Region

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (May 27) – Central Oklahoma's Andrew Green has been named to the NCAA Division II PING All-South Central Regional Team, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

A sophomore from Edmond Santa Fe, Green had a 73.87 scoring average in 2009-10 while posting top-20 finishes in seven of UCO's 11 tournaments. He had four consecutive top-three finishes during the spring, including a championship effort at the Air Force Invitational in Colorado.

Green came in third in the Lone Star Conference Championships after rallying with rounds of 67-66 on the final two days and he was 12th in the South/South Central Regional.

It's the second straight year for Green to make the All-South Central Regional squad and he was also named to the five-member Division II All-Freshman Team and an honorable mention All-American last season.
