Defensive standout who returns as the team’s top libero . . . Had an immediate impact as a junior college transfer last year in quickly establishing herself as one of the elite defenders in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Should be even better in 2015 and is poised to finish with a flourish.
2014: Enjoyed a stellar debut season for the Bronchos, appearing in all 33 matchs and playing in 117 sets . . . Earned second-team All-MIAA honors as a libero . . . Collected a team-best 670 digs, including a season-high 46 against Fort Hays State . . . Had the second-most service aces for UCO with 17 to her credit . . . Dished out the 52 assists, the second-best total on the team . . . Had four kills on 15 attack attempts . . . Finished the season ranked 15th in the nation and first in the conference in digs per set.
Juco: Two-year defensive standout at Neosho (Kan.) County Community College . . . Collected 422 digs and 52 service aces as a freshman . . . Ranked seventh nationally in digs last year, racking up 858 to go with 32 aces . . . Averaged 23.2 digs a match for the 30-7 Panthers and had seven matches with 30-plus . . . Earned first-team All-District and second-team All-Conference recognition.
High School: Led Washburn Rural High School in Topeka to three state championships during four-year prep career . . . All-City and All-League pick as a senior . . . Also lettered in softball.
