Biography
Junior veteran and team captain set to handle the libero duties once again . . . Has been a stalwart defender on the back row the past two years and is poised from an even better campaign this season . . . Splendid athlete who excels at both serving and serve receiving . . . Has played in every set (137) of every match (64) during her career.
2011: Put together one of UCO's best-ever back-row defensive seasons, racking up 585 digs in earning second-team All-Independents Collegiate Athletic Association recognition . . . Had double-digit digs in 32 of 33 matches and averaged 17.7 an outing in finishing with the fourth-most digs in school history . . . Collected 20-plus digs in 11 matches with five of 25-plus, topped by a career-high 33 in four-set win over Southwest Baptist . . . Also tied for the team lead in service aces (34) with a trio of three-ace matches.
2010: Played in every match and all 113 sets, finishing second on the team with 346 digs . . . Had 16 outings with double-digit digs, including the final nine of the season . . . Averaged 18.1 digs a match during that closing stretch, collecting 20-plus digs in six of the nine contests . . . Had a season-high 23 digs in three-set home sweep of Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Added 23 aces, including a season-best four in early-season win over Texas-Permian Basin.
High School: Basketball-volleyball standout at Edmond Santa Fe High School . . . Led the Wolves to three state runner-up finishes in volleyball and was an All-State pick as a senior.
Personal: Speech pathology major and member of UCO Dean's Honor Roll . . . Father (Guy) is UCO’s head women’s basketball coach and brother (Chance) was a three-year basketball letterman for the Bronchos . . . Enjoys going to the late in her spare time . . . Names the Oklahoma City Thunder as her top professional team . . . Lists "The Blind Side" as her favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is Feb. 10, 1992.
