Biography
Sophomore letterwinner set to see extensive action at both libero and defensive specialist . . . Came in as a true freshman last year and had an immediate impact with her stellar back-row defense and serve receiving ability . . . Fantastic athlete who should really benefit from the experience and success of last year and will again be a key defensive force for the Bronchos.
2010: Played in every match and all 113 sets, finishing second on the team with 346 digs . . . Had 16 outings with double-digit digs, including the final nine of the season . . . Averaged 18.1 digs a match during that closing stretch, collecting 20-plus digs in six of the nine contests . . . Had a season-high 23 digs in three-set home sweep of Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Added 23 aces, including a season-best four in early-season win over Texas-Permian Basin.
High School: Basketball-volleyball standout at Edmond Santa Fe High School . . . Led the Wolves to three state runner-up finishes in volleyball and was an All-State pick as a senior.
Personal: A speech pathology major . . . Father (Guy) is UCO’s head women’s basketball coach and brother (Chance) was a three-year basketball letterman for the Bronchos . . . Enjoys wakeboarding among her top hobbies . . . Birthdate is Feb. 10, 1992.
