Biography

Team captain slated to take over as full-time starter at right-side hitter . . . Saw part-time starting duty last year in showing what she’s capable of, with the Bronchos expecting big things from this senior leader . . . Should be an offensive threat and also gives UCO another solid blocker at the net . . . Enjoyed a stellar career at Cowley County (Kan.) Community College.
 
2013:  Finished with 140 kills and 34 total blocks while playing in 28 matches with 16 starts . . . Had two matches with double-digit kills, collecting 12 while hitting .290 against Southern Nazarene and 11 in win over Washburn . . . Blocked at least two shots in nine matches.
 
Juco:  Two-year starter in helping Cowley to a 76-3 record and one national championship . . . Conference All-Academic pick as a freshman and had 300 digs, 200 kills and 49 total blocks as a sophomore in earning second-team All-Conference and All-District honors.
 
High School:  Three-time All-Conference and All-Southeast Kansas pick at West Elk High School . . . Also a two-time All-Conference selection in softball and lettered in basketball.
 
Personal:  Dietetics/nutrition major . . . Enjoys dancing in her spare time . . . Mom (Juli) played basketball at Ottawa University.
