Biography
Junior veteran and returning starter who should play a big role at middle blocker this fall ... Sensational athlete with great leaping ability and is coming off solid sophomore season ... Capable of becoming a prime weapon, both offensively on the attack and defensively with her blocking ability ... One of UCO’s most experienced players and has gotten better each year.
2021: Collected 141 kills and was second on the team with 70 total blocks while starting 28 of 29 matches ... Had five-plus kills in 16 matches, knocking down career-high nine against both Northwest Missouri and Nebraska-Kearney ... Hit .300 or better 11 times, highlighted by .636 performance in win over Newman with seven kills and no errors in just 11 attacks ... Made four-plus blocks seven times, including career-best six on four difference occasions.
2020: Season was canceled by the international health crisis, but gained additional experience during UCO’s unofficial 2021 spring campaign.
2019: Played in 24 matches and was very effective when on the court, notching 65 kills with solid .268 attack percentage and 43 total blocks … Block total was second-best on the team and had eight matches with at least three blocks, capped by a pair of four-block outings … Had five kills four different times, hitting a combined .500 in those matches with 20 kills and just two errors in 36 attacks.
High School: Volleyball-track star at Edmond Santa Fe High School … Helped lead the Wolves to back-to-back Class 6A state championships her final two seasons … All-Edmond Sun selection as a senior after finishing with .325 hitting percentage and 66 blocks … Two-time regional champion in the high jump.
Personal: Kinesiology major looking to become an athletic trainer … Enjoys drawing as a hobby … Names J. Cole as her favorite musician … Birthdate is Aug. 18, 2001.
