Biography
Returning letterwinner who should see plenty of playing time on the court this season . . . Outstanding passer and superb defender set to help out on the back row and could also get action at outside hitter . . . Gained plenty of valuable experience last year and will use that to her advantage in 2010.
2009: Played in 29 of 32 matches, finishing with 196 digs, 55 kills and 21 service aces . . . Had six matches with 10 or more digs, finishing the season with back-to-back 12-dig outings . . . Saw extended action at outside hitter down the stretch, collecting 38 of her 55 kills in the last six matches . . . Hit .290 with a season-high 14 kills in a season-best 31 attacks in four-set win over Midwestern State in the regular season finale . . . Had five matches with two-plus aces, serving up a season-high three against Southwestern Oklahoma.
High School: Multi-sport standout at McGuinness High School, earning 17 varsity letters during her career . . . Helped lead the Irish to back-to-back state tournament berths in volleyball.
Personal: An elementary education major looking to become a teacher . . . Has five siblings (three brothers, two sisters) . . . Birthdate is Oct. 22, 1990.
