Biography
Senior standout and one of the premier players in the Lone Star Conference . . . Amazing all-around athlete with a variety of skills at her disposal, excelling on both offense and defense . . . Lethal on the attack at outside hitter with her leaping ability and quick arm-swing and also a superb passer . . . Enters the season needing just 10 kills to reach the 1,000 mark for her career and is poised for a banner final campaign.
2009: Put together a fantastic all-around season, racking up 382 kills, 378 digs, 43 total blocks and 24 services aces to gain first-team All-LSC honors . . . Tied for sixth in the league in kills per set (3.03) and was ninth in points per set (3.40) . . . Had 10-plus kills in 24 of 32 matches -- including the last 10 of the season -- and went over the 15-kill mark in seven outings . . . Collected a season-high 19 kills against both Newman and Midwestern State . . . Had 24 matches with double-digit digs, including 14 straight at one point . . . Went over the 20-dig barrier in three matches, getting a career-high 24 against both St. Edward’s and Texas A&M-Commerce . . . Was an all-tournament pick at the St. Mary’s Invitational.
2008: Enjoyed a sensational season in earning first-team All-LSC acclaim . . . Finished second in the league in kills (483), kills per set (3.74) and points (524) while adding 359 digs, 45 blocks and 17 aces . . . Had 10-plus kills in 27 of UCO’s 34 matches, eclipsing the 20-kill barrier six times . . . Amassed a career-high 30 kills against Missouri Western . . . Had double-digit digs in 16 matches with two 20-plus outings, topped by a season-best 23 against ENMU.
2007: Redshirted after suffering a preseason illness.
2006: Competed in 109 sets as a rookie, finishing with 337 digs, 125 kills and 22 aces . . . Ranked second on the team in digs and had 19 matches with 10 or more . . . Made 10 or more kills in four matches, with a high of 14 coming against Southeastern Oklahoma.
High School: Basketball-volleyball star at Christian Heritage Academy in Del City . . . Four-time member of the Oklahoma Christian State Athletic Association All-State team.
