Biography

Senior star entering her fourth year of starting duty who is among the elite players in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Hard to stop at the net with her blocking and attacking ability, having been a dominating force throughout her career . . . Has gotten better every year and will once again be a major weapon in the middle for the Bronchos . . . Already ranks fifth in both solo (69) and assisted (309) blocks on UCO’s all-time lists, having rejected 100-plus shots each of her three years . . . Has played in 97 career matches, having at least one block in 90 of those.
 
2013:  Was an honorable mention All-MIAA selection after hitting a sizzling team-high .331 with 226 kills while also topping the team in solo (30) and assisted (107) blocks . . . Ranked third in the conference in blocks per set (1.17) and fourth in hitting percentage . . . Was one of just two players to appear in all 34 matches . . .  Earned all-tournament honors in the season-opening Henderson State Classic after hitting .491 with 33 kills and 15 total blocks in four matches . . . Hit .400 or better 12 times, topped by .778 effort (seven kills, no errors, nine attacks) against Langston . . . Had at least one block in all but one match and collected five-plus blocks 10 times . . . Racked up 10 blocks (one solo, nine assists) to go with 12 kills against Lindenwood . . . Amassed double-digit kills in seven matches, highlighted by career-high 13 in road win over Fort Hays State . . . Also named an MIAA scholar athlete.
 
2012:  Started every match and played in 107 of 113 sets during stellar sophomore campaign . . . Was the team’s runaway leader in both solo (24) and assisted (107) blocks, finishing fourth in the conference in blocks per set (1.22) . . . Was also third on the team in kills with 178 while hitting a team-high .252 . . . Made at least one block in 28 of 31 matches, including the final 19 of the season . . . Had five-plus blocks in 14 outings, topped by a seven-assist, three-solo effort at East Central . . . Made nine blocks (six assisted, three solo) in five-set win at Fort Hays State and also had nine (two solo, seven assisted) in three-set home win over ECU . . . Had double-digit kills in three contests . . . Hit at least .300 12 times, capped by .667 effort against Lindenwood with season-high 11 kills and one error in 15 attacks.
 
2011:  Played in 32 of 33 matches with 29 starts and topped the team in both solo (15) and assisted (95) blocks while adding 116 kills . . . Was named to the Independents Collegiate Athletic Association All-Freshman Team in addition to being a third-team All-ICAA pick . . . Collected at least five blocks in 10 matches, led by 10-block performance (one solo, nine assisted) in five-set win over Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Had at least one block in 29 matches, including a streak of 13 straight to end the season . . . Hit .300 or better in 12 contests, topped by a .750 outing in sweep of Newman with 10 kills and one error in 12 attacks.
 
High School:  Was a Home School All-American as a senior . . . Also earned All-State honors in basketball as a freshman while at Harvest Hills Christian School.
