Biography
Senior veteran looking to return to form after missing most of last year to injury . . . . . . Has been a dominating force at the net throughout her career and is definitely one of the best middle blockers in the Lone Star Conference . . . Is both an offensive and defensive threat with her size and athletic ability, with the Bronchos needing this proven performer back at full speed . . . Played in only seven matches last year before suffering season-ending knee injury and hopes to gain a hardship ruling that would allow her to play in 2011.
2009: Was hitting a sizzling .342 with 51 kills before going down the second weekend of the season . . . Hit .550 with 12 kills and one error in 20 attacks against Northwood . . . Had 21 total blocks in seven matches, collecting six against Millersville.
2008: Played in all 129 sets and led the team in solo (10), assisted (75) and total blocks (85) while ranking second in kills (260) . . . Had double-digit kills in 10 matches, collecting a season-high 16 in late-season win over Southwestern Oklahoma when she had just one error in 27 attacks in hitting a season-best .556 . . . Hit .300 or better 12 times, hitting .500 or better three times . . . Made five-plus blocks six times and tied a career-high with eight assisted blocks against Dallas Baptist . . . Served up a career-best five aces in win over Northwest Missouri.
2007: Started all year and led the league in overall blocks (143) while ranking third in blocks per set (1.04) . . . Finished with 128 assisted blocks, which ranks fifth on UCO’s single-season list . . . Added 353 kills with a solid .246 hitting percentage . . . Had 23 matches with at least four blocks, topped by an eight-block outing against Abilene Christian . . . Had 10-plus kills in 17 matches, collecting a career-high 17 in win over Dallas Baptist . . . Hit at least .300 in 16 matches, highlighted by a .560 performance against Cameron.
2006: Redshirted.
High School: Prep star at Trinity Christian High School in Lubbock, Texas . . . Led the Lady Lions to back-to-back Texas Association of Private and Parochial School Class 4A state titles . . . Two-time All-State selection and set school records for single-season and career blocks.
