Biography
Returning letterwinner slated to fill a starting berth at middle blocker this season while also seeing time at right-side hitter . . . Came on strong late last year, followed that with a terrific spring training season and should be a big asset for the Bronchos in 2011 . . . Possesses a quick arm-swing and great lateral quickness . . . Local high school product who played one year at Seminole State College before coming to UCO.
2010: Played in 21 matches and 54 sets, finishing with 54 kills and 23 total blocks (three solo, 20 assisted) . . . Collected a season-high 10 kills in three-set home sweep of Eastern New Mexico and had five other matches with five kills . . . Had two or more blocks in five contests.
Juco: Started all year in 2009 to help lead the Trojans to a berth in the junior college national tournament . . . Ranked among the national leaders in hitting percentage at .365, finishing with 130 kills and just 22 errors in 296 attacks.
High School: All-State selection as a senior at Santa Fe High School in Edmond . . . Also lettered in track for the Wolves.
Personal: A chemistry major . . . Has four sisters . . . Birthdate is April 5, 1991.
