Biography
Sophomore middle blocker coming off a solid season who will push for a starting berth this fall . . . Stepped into a starting role last year after Jessica Legako went down with injury and responded in a positive fashion . . . Made tremendous progress in 2009 and will benefit from the experience gained . . . Good athlete with a quick arm-swing who is ready to be a factor.
2009: Played in 67 sets, finishing with 79 kills and 47 total blocks . . . Hit .346 with a season-high 11 kills against Texas A&M-Commerce and had five-plus kills in five other matches . . . Collected three or more blocks in seven matches, with a high of six coming in win over Drury.
2008: Redshirted.
High School: Two-time All-District pick at Lake Dallas High School.
Personal: An advertising/graphic design major looking to become art director for an advertising firm . . . Lists the Dallas Mavericks as her favorite professional team . . . Birthdate is Jan. 22, 1990.
