Former Broncho goalkeeper Rebekah Svensson returns to the sidelines in 2022 – her 12th season with UCO. She is the goalkeeper coach for the Bronchos and also assists in other duties as needed.

Svensson was a squad member from 2003-07, appearing in 29 games over her four-year career. She made 60 total saves and posted seven career shutouts. Svensson left Central with a 14-3-0 career record in goal. 

Following her playing career, Svensson returned to assist the program in a volunteer role in 2011.

Originally from Molndal, Sweden, Svensson graduated from Broken Arrow High School before coming to UCO. She received her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Central in 2007.

Svensson is married (Meghan).
