Returning national champion coxswain looking to continue working with Broncho program that vaulted to the top of NCAA Division II a year ago ... Served a steady role in the Varsity 4+ boat and will do the same again this season ... Has big race experience and can help UCO maintain its top position with leadership skills.

2017-2018: Coxed the V4+ that placed second at the NCAA DII National Championships in Sarasota, Fla., adding enough points to the team score to win the team’s first national championship ... Coxed the Novice 4+ that won gold at the WIRA Championships in Sacramento, Calif. ... Coxed the V4+ that won at the Falcon Regatta in Seattle, Wash., by one second in front of Western Washington ... Coxed the Open 4+ at Central Sprints, winning by a quarter of a second in front of Humboldt State.

2016-2017: Did not race during freshman season.

High School: Gymnastics all-stater two years in a row and was also on the Honor Roll at Yukon High School.

Personal: Kinesiology major who wants to be either a physician’s assistant or a sports psychologist ... Favorite hobbies include sleeping and walking her dog ... Top sports memory is being part of the NCAA DII National Championship team in 2018 ... One thing most people don’t know about Kitchell is that she can do a handstand for three-straight minutes.
