Biography

Senior standout who ranks among the top players in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Really came into her own last year and is a splendid all-around player capable of hurting teams in a variety of ways . . . Tall, agile guard with great shooting range and also a big-time threat inside as a rebounder and shot-blocker . . . Confidence gained from last season's success will help boost this team leader to an even higher level in 2012-13 . . . Spent one year at Division I Tulsa before transferring to UCO and played a significant role on the 2009-10 national tournament team before missing the 2010-11 campaign to injury.

2011-12:  Led the team in scoring (12.0 ppg) and rebounding (7.2 rpg) en route to earning second-team All-Independents Collegiate Athletic Association recognition . . . Added 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals a game while shooting 46.8 percent from the field, including 43.8 percent from 3-point range . . . Had six double-doubles on the season, highlighted by 29-point, 12-rebound outing in rout of Oklahoma Panhandle while earning all-tournament honors at the Pioneer Premiere . . . Scored in double figures 16 times with three games of 20-plus points . . . Poured in career-high 30 points against McKendree on 11-of-14 shooting with three treys . . . Tied a school single-game record with seven blocked shots in upset of Newman while adding 19 points and seven rebounds . . . Pulled down career-best 15 rebounds in win over Ouachita Baptist . . . Finished the season with a flourish, averaging 17.5 points over the final eight games while shooting a sizzling 59.7 percent (46-of-77) from the field.


2010-11:  Sat out the season with injury.

2009-10:  Made four starts while playing in all 30 games, averaging 5.9 points and 2.5 rebounds a contest . . . Scored just 17 total points in the first 10 games before averaging 8.1 the rest of the way with seven double-figure games . . . Averaged 17.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in four starts while shooting 54.9 percent (28-of-51) from the field . . . Erupted for 20 points in back-to-back starts against  East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Also had 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting in start against Texas A&M-Commerce . . . Nailed long-distance 3-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime at Texas Woman’s and finished with a season-high three treys and 13 points as the Bronchos eventually won in two overtimes.
 
Tulsa:  Appeared in 25 games for the Golden Hurricane in 2008-09, averaging 1.4 points and 0.8 rebounds a contest.

High School:  Prep standout at Preston High School, leading the Pirates to an 86-5 record and one state title during her career . . . Conference MVP and an All-Stater as a senior after averaging 17 points, six rebounds and four assists a game . . . State all-tournament pick three straight years.

Personal:  Mass communications major . . . Enjoys reading and running among her hobbies . . . Older brother (T.J.) played football at Oklahoma, while younger brother (Ramsey) is a freshman quarterback at Pittsburg State . . . Serves as vice-president of UCO's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee . . . Names Larry Bird as her favorite sports star . . . Birthdate is Dec. 14, 1989.
