Biography
Senior veteran and outstanding long-range shooter who will probably miss the season with a knee injury, but has a redshirt year available . . . Tore the ACL in her right knee in the first round of the South Central Regional last March and then re-injured it during pre-season drills . . . One of the best 3-point shooters in the region and a fine all-around player who does whatever it takes to help her team succeed . . . Has made 132 treys in her 93-game career, needing just seven more to move into the school’s all-time top-five list and 59 to break the record.
2010-11: Stepped into a full-time starting role and responded with a solid all-around season . . . Averaged 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists a contest while starting in all 30 games she played and shot 40.5 percent (64-of-158) from 3-point range, which ranked fifth in the Lone Star Conference . . . Hit at least one 3-pointer in 27 games, including one streak of 19 straight, and made three or more nine times . . . Finished fourth on UCO’s single-season list for 3-pointers made and seventh for 3-pointers attempted . . . Scored in double figures 11 times, topped by a pair of 20-plus games . . . Poured in a career-high 23 points against Midwestern State while making 6-of-8 shots with five treys and went 6-of-7 from outside the arc in 20-point outing at Texas Woman’s.
2009-10: Played in all 30 games with one start, averaging 4.6 points and 1.3 rebounds a game . . . Ranked third in the LSC in 3-point percentage at 44.3, (34-of-77) . . . Made two-plus 3-pointers in 12 games, nailing 4-of-8 tries in a season-high 14-point effort against Texas A&M-Commerce . . . Had three other double-digit scoring outings.
2008-09: Came off the bench in all 33 games, averaging 4.6 points and 1.3 rebounds a game . . . Shot 41.5 percent (34-of-82) from 3-point range, eighth-best in the LSC . . . Made two-plus treys in 10 games, highlighted by a 5-of-8 effort in scoring a season-high 19 points against Oklahoma Panhandle.
High School: Prep standout at Harrah High School, finishing her career with over 1,000 points . . . Two-time Oklahoman Big All-City pick and was named conference MVP twice . . . Averaged 14.0 points, 4.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals a game as a senior in earning All-State honors . . . Helped lead the Panthers to three state tournament berths.
