Emma Andrews took over the head women’s basketball coaching position at Central Oklahoma in May 2022 and has a 19-37 record in two seasons at UCO, with a 92-124 career record as a head coach.

In her first season with the Bronchos, Andrews started her tenure with three straight wins. She led the Bronchos to the MIAA Basketball Championship quarterfinals, winning an opening round game against Emporia State before falling to the No. 2 seed in the tournament.

In year two, Andrews led the Bronchos to an 8-20 overall record, including a 7-15 mark in the MIAA, where the Bronchos finished 11th.

Andrews came to UCO from Cameron, where she spent six seasons leading the Aggie women’s program in Lawton, Oklahoma. She led CU to five Lone Star Conference tournament appearances and one NCAA Division II national tournament appearance in 2020-21.

Andrews was an assistant at Cameron for two seasons before being named head coach there in May of 2016.

Prior to her time in Lawton, Andrews was a graduate assistant coach for Fresno State from 2012-14. She was a student assistant in 2011-12. That span followed her four-year standout playing career for the Bulldogs.

She earned All-WAC honors as a junior in 2010 and was named to the WAC All-Tournament team as a freshman in 2008.
