Biography
Returning part-time starter who is expected to fill a full-time role in 2012-13 . . . Tough, physical player and a superb defender who can also score and rebound . . . Should benefit from a year in the UCO system and is ready to be a major force in the paint for the Bronchos . . . Transferred in from intrastate rival Cameron last year.
2011-12: Started in half of UCO's 26 games, averaging 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds a game . . . Had four double-digit scoring games and pulled down five-plus rebounds six times . . . Had dominating effort in road win over Pittsburg State, hitting 7-of-8 shots from the field in scoring a season-high 16 points while adding eight rebounds and three steals.
CU: Played in 16 games with 12 starts for the Aggies in 2010-11, averaging 6.8 points and 3.6 rebounds a game.
Juco: Helped lead Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College to a 27-6 record as a freshman in 2009-10, averaging 7.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals while playing in all 33 games.
High School: Prep standout at Star Spencer High School, leading the Bobcats to the Class 4A state title as a senior . . . Averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds a game his final season in picking up Oklahoman Little All-City Player of the Year and All-State accolades.
Personal: Kinesiology major who wants to be a sports agent . . . Names the Miami Heat as his top professional team . . . Birthdate is Jan. 5, 1991.
