Biography

Senior sharpshooter who ranks as one of the top players in the Lone Star Conference . . . Has great quickness and anticipation, excelling as both a quality defender and deft passer . . . Owns excellent shooting range and can also take the ball to the basket, able to give the Bronchos instant offense . . . Confident player ready for a banner final season, with UCO needing big production from this veteran . . . Has 124 steals and 147 3-pointers for his career, needing 11 steals and 41 treys to break into the school’s top five list for those categories . . . Also has scored 859 points, lacking 141 to become the 35th player in school history with 1,000.

2008-09:  Enjoyed a stellar junior season while starting in 20 of 30 games, averaging 11.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals a game in earning honorable mention All-LSC North Division honors . . . Tied for fifth in the league in steals and his 61 thefts ranks 10th on UCO’s single-season chart . . . Scored in double digits 19 times with five 20-point games, capped by a career-high 28-point outing in road win over Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Was an all-tournament pick in the LSC Tournament after averaging 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games while making two key defensive plays in a first-round overtime win over Tarleton State . . . Made at least three 3-pointers in five games, hitting a career-high eight in 13 attempts while scoring 24 points in home rout of East Central . . . Shot a team-high 81.2 percent (69-of-85) from the free throw line.

2007-08:  Started the first 12 games of the season before coming off the bench in 21 of the last 22 and finished as the team’s second-leading scorer with a 10.8 average . . . Added 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals a game while shooting a team-high 85.0 percent (51-of-60) from the line . . . Tied for the team lead in 3-pointers with 68 and shot a solid 38.0 percent (68-of-179) from beyond the arc in earning honorable mention All-LSC North Division honors . . . Was named the Most Valuable Player in the South Central Regional after hitting the game-winning 3-pointer with 3.5 seconds left in UCO’s thrilling 77-76 finals victory over Tarleton State . . . Had just four points in first-round win at the regional, then scored 14 in the semifinals and had 12 -- including UCO’s last five -- in the finals . . . Averaged 11.6 points a contest in seven postseason games while shooting 46.7 percent (14-of-30) from 3-point range and 100 percent (15-of-15) from the line . . . Scored in double digits in 22 games with a season-high 21 coming in road win over Cameron . . . Made three or more treys in 11 games.

2006-07:  Earned LSC North Division Freshman of the Year honors after averaging 5.1 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game . . . Was second on the team in 3-pointers (37) and 3-point percentage (43.0) . . . Scored a season-high 22 points in rout of St. Gregory’s and had four other double-digit games.

2005-06:   Sat out a redshirt year.

High School:  All-Conference and All-State pick as a senior at Preston High School after averaging 25.6 points and 6.5 assists a game.

Personal:  A physical education major . . . Enjoys reading in his spare time . . . Birthdate is July 30, 1987.
