Biography

Junior veteran who ranks as one of the top 3-pointer shooters in the Lone Star Conference . . . Really came into his own last year and should be even more of an offensive threat this season . . . Plays with great confidence and owns outstanding range along with the ability to drive inside . . . Also a superb free throw shooter and a fine passer who knows how to find open teammates.

2007-08:  Started the first 12 games of the season before coming off the bench in 21 of the last 22 and finished as the team’s second-leading scorer with a 10.8 average . . . Added 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals a game while shooting a team-high 85.0 percent (51-of-60) from the free throw line . . . Tied for the team lead in 3-pointers with 68 and shot a solid 38.0 percent (68-of-179) from beyond the arc in earning honorable mention All-LSC North honors . . . Was named the Most Valuable Player in the South Central Regional after hitting the game-winning 3-pointer with 3.5 seconds left in UCO’s thrilling 77-76 finals victory over Tarleton State . . . Had just four points in first-round win at the regional, then scored 14 in the semifinals and had 12 -- including UCO’s last five -- in the finals . . . Averaging 11.6 points a contest in seven postseason games while shooting 46.7 percent (14-of-30) from 3-point range and 100 percent (15-of-15) from the line . . . Scored in double digits in 22 games and had seven of 15-plus, including a season-high 21 in road win over Cameron . . . Made three or more treys in 11 games, with a high of five coming against Midwestern State.

2006-07:
  Earned LSC North Division Freshman of the Year honors after averaging 5.1 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game . . . Ranked second on the team in 3-point field goals made (37) and 3-point field goal percentage (43.0) . . . Scored a career-high 22 points in rout of St. Gregory’s and added four other double-digit scoring performances.

2005-06:
  Sat out a redshirt year.

High School:
  All-Conference and All-State pick as a senior at Preston High School . . . Averaged 25.6 points and 6.5 assists a game during his final season.
