Senior star who ranks among the best players in the nation . . . Returning All-American with amazing versatility, capable of taking over a game in a variety of ways . . . 2009-10: Stepped in and had an immediate impact en route to earning National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) first-team All-America honors and Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Year accolades . . . Was the only player in the LSC to rank in the top 10 in five statistical categories, leading the conference in assists (5.4) while ranking second in scoring (19.9) and steals (2.4), fourth in field goal percentage (56.9) and seventh in rebounding (7.8) . . . Scored in double figures in all 29 games and had 12 20-point outings, topped by a 37-point performance at Texas A&M-Commerce when he added nine rebounds and eight assists . . . Had five double-doubles and a pair of triple-doubles, becoming the first UCO player to accomplish that feat since the 1990-91 season . . . First triple-double was a 10-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist game against Northeastern State and then scored 23 points with a season-high 14 rebounds and a season-best 12 assists in home rout of East Central . . . Handed out eight-plus assists in eight games and made three or more steals in 14 contests . . . Shot 60 percent or better 10 times, capped by an 81.8-percent showing (9-of-11) in scoring 22 points against Science and Arts of Oklahoma . . . Made three-plus 3-pointers seven times with a pair of five-trey outings . . . Earned LSC North Division player of the week recognition seven times, taking the defensive honor four times and the offensive award three . . . Tied the school-record for single-game free throw percentage with a 10-of-10, 100-percent effort against Eastern New Mexico . . . Finished among UCO's single-season leaders in steals (71, fifth), assists (158, sixth) and points (576, 13th).
Juco: Played two years at Seminole State College. . . Averaged 14 points and seven rebounds a game as a sophomore before going out with a season-ending knee injury in January.
High School: All-District pick as a senior at Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas.
