Cameron Henderson

In his sixth year as Central Oklahoma's assistant men's basketball coach is Cameron Henderson, who came to the Bronchos in July 2015 after a highly-successful three-year stint at Connors State College.

Henderson has helped UCO to 75 wins over the past five seasons. Central went 16-14 in 2015-16 during Henderson's first year with the program, then had a 17-12 record the following season before going 20-10 in 2017-18. The Bronchos went 11-17 in 2018-19 before going 11-18 in 2019-20.

Cameron came to UCO after spending three years as assistant coach at Connors, with the Cowboys going 79-18 and qualifying for the junior college national tournament twice during that span.
 
A three-time All-State performer at Hall High School in Little Rock, Ark., Henderson started his college career at Connors in 2007.  He was a two-time All-Bi-State Conference and All-Region II selection for the Cowboys before signing with Division I Montana State.
 
Henderson was a two-year letterman for the Bobcats and then stayed on as a student assistant coach. He returned to Connors as assistant coach in 2012.
 
The Cowboys went 24-9 in 2012-13, followed with a 23-7 campaign and conference championship in 2013-14 and then had a 32-2 record this past season while winning conference and regional titles.  Connors made the national tournament in 2013 and ’15, advancing to the Elite Eight this season.
 
Henderson recruited the 2014 and ’15 Region II MVP award winners and 11 players signed with Division I schools during his tenure at Connors.

Cameron is married (Kiesha) and has three children (Jaylin, Dejah, and Mirasia).
