Senior defensive leader and the premier linebacker in the Lone Star Conference . . . Punishing defender with superb defensive instincts who always finds a way to be around the ball . . . Intense and gifted athlete with the ability to change the course of a game with his defensive skills . . . Coming off an marvelous debut season after transferring from Navarro (Texas) College and will once again contend for conference and national postseason recognition.

2006: Picked up a bevy of postseason recognition, including two All-American selections, LSC Linebacker of the Year and first-team All-LSC North Division after racking up a league-leading 117 tackles, which ranked fourth in NCAA Division II and was the most tackles by a UCO player since 1998 . . . Two-time LSC North Division Defensive Player of the Week and finished with 12 tackles for minus-32 yards in loss, including two sacks, and broke up four passes . . . Made a season-high 15 stops on two occasions and registered 10 or more tackles in seven games . . . Tallied 12 tackles, including three for a loss of yards in road triumph over Angelo State . . . Turned in an excellent all-around performance in home victory against Texas A&M-Commerce, recording 14 tackles, seven of those solo, a sack and forced a fumble . . . Added 15 tackles and a sack in loss to Southeastern Oklahoma.

Juco: Two-year starter at Navarro College . . . All-Conference pick as a sophomore after collecting 95 tackles with three sacks while also forcing a pair of fumbles.

High School: Had 95 tackles with ten sacks and five forced fumbles in earning District 4A-7 Defensive MVP honors at Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth . . . Also an All-District pick in soccer.

Personal: A safety major . . . Enjoys fishing and spending time with daughter Peyton in his spare time . . . Lists Ray Lewis as his favorite sports star . . . Birthdate is Dec. 21, 1985.
