Juco:  Played two years at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, earning second-team All-Conference honors one season.

High School:  Prep standout at Northeast High School in Wichita as a two-way threat, picking up All-City recognition at both quarterback and safety . . . Also lettered in basketball and track.

Personal:  General studies major . . . Father (Sherdeill, Sr.) played at Oklahoma and for the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League . . . Enjoys playing the guitar in his spare time . . . Birthdate is Jan. 17, 1987.
